Smeggy's rat  arose out of a drunken comment Smeggy made one evening in the pub. He did have a pet rat at the time and liked dressing it up in little pink frocks and Nazi uniforms. The rats personality was warped by this behaviour and he eventually became a tree hugging hippy with a violent streak and a taste for really nice lace. After attending therapy for many years Smeggys Rat gained his revenge on his overbearing owner by pissing in his cornflakes and giving him Weils disease.
