Hi, I really like your website if I'm straightforward. Where did you receive it built?

Dear Mr Free Dating Sites

I suspect you are an automated message but don't understand what is your point if you don't include a link and make your email secret?????

PS I received my website built of my own personage.

Yes hello i am but a wimpy teenage american girl so i unfortunately have no memories of the Cheesybits but nonetheless i am glad to have found this website. i am a very big fan of other work Smeggy has done so it was great finding the Cheesybits demos and such on here. Smeggy's so cool!!!!

You didn't miss much when you missed Smeggy and the Cheesybits. It was one of those experiences in life that was better in retrospect - not so much fun when you're actually there.

Smeggy was a strange bloke, as likely to quote Johnny Rotten as Vivian Stanshall. From the moment I set eyes on him it was obvious that he was going to be a great frontman despite his dubious singing talents. If I hadn't met him I would have many less stories to bore my son with and I wouldn't be ble to say I played at Ronnie Scott's and supported the Damned.

He appeared in the line-up on "Never Mind the Buzzcocks" recently. It was weird seeing him old, I'd last seen him in about 1984.

Nice to know we have at least one fan in the States.

Er.. yeah, The Waltons. Loved to get smashed off my face and see them play at The Prince Consort. Sadly the only lyric that permiates the membranes now is "Yoghurt, Yoghurt, Rum Tiddley I Tie Yoghurt, Yoghurt". Shit, now there's a hook. If it's still with me now just think how loaded you'd be if you had a decent manager, or a manager, or any management skills or whatever.
By the way, who's idea was it to let off some kind of thunder-flash one night to open your set? My mate Dave nearly had a heart attack. Mind you, he had done quite a lot of whizz and was a skinny guy anyway.
I digress. What happened to the film Annika? Was it actually finished? Reason why I ask is because I was an extra in the car park knife fight scene and I'd like to see it if possible.
Belated Applause,
Machino

I fondly remember seeing Smeggy at The Vault in Brighton around 79-81 and the flour fights! Great pix - helps to show people how grey and dull Britain was then (which made good music and great times seem even better IMO).

I have very few pics from that time as I knew that any camera I took out with me would not come back in one piece if at all. Don't worry about the few responses - people are lazy now due to the internet.

Unfortunately I always had to take a guitar to these gigs and it quite often need dismatling and cleaning, or reassembling afterwards. I wish I had more photos of when I was actually living there (78-80??).
