The

Tropical
Iguana
D 2.18 3:10 Ah.. How can I explain this. I think this was shortly after the band had split up (possibly the same night) and Bernie and I were running through some of our songs (realizing where we had been going wrong mostly) slowly descending into a drunken stupor. Finally we decided that freeform poetry was the way forward (Red, Dead, Motorbike Spike[see below]), or possibly lounge music (Night of the Tropical Iguana), or Skiffle (I have a shuffle version of Mama We're All Crazy Now[see below]) Finally Bernie decided he was going to go solo (Knees Up Mother Brown).

The
Glue Song
D 1.26 1:50 Three songs from one of our rare and badly attended practice sessions. This was organized compared to the days when Smeg would turn up on my doorstep after I hadn't seen him for 3 months with a bass player I'd never met and announce that we were supporting The Damned in a couple of hours time (this really happened and as I recall was quite good gig).

E 2.16 3:08 Recorded (by Nick) at the Art College. Also playing were The Chefs, and Nicky and the Dots. Bernie was famously brandishing a shotgun on stage, Cheesybits was dyed yellow and Bruv was dressed as Jack Hargreves. As I recall Paul Roundhill decided he was going to take over the mixing desk in middle of our set; he can't possibly have made it sound any worse. I suspect we were very, very drunk at the time. What ever happened to Paul Roundhill?
