The Slaves of Janet play at the Court Hope Community Centre, somewhere in the urban sprawl that surrounds Brighton in 1981. most of the audience were more concerned with playing football, but a few stuck around to watch the gig. I wish I could tell you whether the gig was any good but I can't remeber a thing about it. I later played in "The Band That Shall not Be Named" with their bassist Roger Davenport
