Message: | Yo the Waltons were the must-have band when you had a big night out on the Island. Wherever I went wiv me mates it was wherever the Waltons were on, the Consort, Portmouth Poly (shame not more folks from Pompey turned up - they didn't know the band), etc. Now I play guitar and wish somebody would tab the songs, espcially those on the 'Dead Above the Neck' tape they issued around 1985/6. That is still one of my best 'albums' what a wicked delivery from full-on-and-frothing band. Dread was my landlord when I lived at the Savoy Tutorial College in Ryde, 1982. Anybody goty some tab for these wicked songs email me and will be eternally grateful ! Desser. |   |
We never were organised enough to write anything down. It was hard enough getting it recorded. Young people nowadays don't know they're born with their 8-Track Digital recording studios that fit into a matchbox, when I was a nipper we had it tough. We had to record our album on a piece of string, not new string mind, we dreamed of using new string, no this was string we got from fishmonger after he had used t' roll mop herring........etc |   | |

Message: | Although the writing was completely ordinary and rather Junior High School, it was amusing enough to hold my exceptionally short attention span for a whole five minutes. Thanx. |   |

Message: | There are tapes in existence of both those Greyhound gigs. The first one is memorable for Seans incredibly out of tune keyboard on the big opening number. Hasn't anybody got a tape they could copy to this poor sap. |   |
